List of Commitments Summarizes Application Rounds

The Plant Based-Food Grant's "List of commitments" summarises the commitments to projects in the annual application rounds.

In the List of Commitments, the secretariat provides an overview of the projects to which the board has decided to award grants during the annual application rounds.

The List of Commitments is published immediately after the board's grant meeting, once all projects have received either a grant or a rejection for their project application.

The project details listed in the List of Commitments, such as the grant amount or project duration, are preliminary and may be changed after publication.

For more detailed information about individual projects, the secretariat refers to the “Grøn Projektbank”, where a complete database of all the Plant-based Food Grant's projects is regularly updated.

Grant allocations 2024

In 2024, the Plant-Based Food Grant has committed to 35 projects with a total of 122.6 million DKK.

Promoting plant-based food requires changes at every stage of the value chain. We need to encourage consumers to change their eating habits. We need food producers to create more and better products. And we need professional chefs and food actors to promote plant-based food over meat. That’s why we allocate funding across the entire value chain.

- Marie-Louise Boisen Lendal, Chairperson

Grant allocations 2023

In 2023, the Plant-Based Food Grant has committed to 36 projects with a total of 57.7 million DKK.

In this round, we have prioritized commitments to smaller projects with the goal of ensuring that the Plant-Based Food Grant’s funds have as broad an impact on society as possible. I hope that when we look back at this moment in 10 years, we will see it not only as the starting point of a broad national success but also as the moment that sparked a global movement.
