Board of Directors

The Board of the Plant-Based Food Grant consists of eleven members and decides which project applications will receive funding during the Plant-Based Food Grant's application rounds.

The Plant-Based Food Grant is led by a board appointed by the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries based on recommendations from various associations and organisations.

The board is responsible for developing the long-term strategy for the grant, and each year it adopts a new action plan that sets the framework for how the focus areas of project applications should be prioritised.

Based on the strategy and action plan, the board calls for and decides which applications the Plant-Based Food Grant will support. The selection process is based on an assessment of how well the projects align with the law's objectives, as well as the program's strategy and action plan.

The board is supported by a secretariat located within the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries of Denmark.
